This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms applicable when a project engagement with Chandrabhan Singh Dhakad (operating as Asha Web Tech) is terminated before completion, whether initiated by the Client or by the Service Provider. We encourage open communication to resolve any concerns before resorting to cancellation.
1 Cancellation by Client
A client may choose to cancel an ongoing project at any time by providing written notice via email or WhatsApp. The following terms apply based on the stage at which the cancellation occurs:

Any assets, code, designs, or deliverables completed up to the point of cancellation remain the property of Chandrabhan Singh Dhakad until all outstanding payments are settled in full.
2 Cancellation by Service Provider
We reserve the right to cancel a project and terminate the engagement in the following circumstances:
- Non-payment beyond 14 days of a due milestone
- Repeated failure by the client to provide required assets, feedback, or approvals causing indefinite project delays
- The client requests work that violates laws, ethical standards, or our service guidelines
- Communication breakdown making it impossible to proceed professionally
- Discovery of misrepresentation or fraudulent intent by the client
In such cases, the client will receive:
- Written notice of cancellation with reasons
- Delivery of all work completed up to the cancellation date
- A refund for any portion of payments received for work not yet commenced, less any applicable processing fees
3 Project Pause & Resumption
If a project is paused (not cancelled) by either party:
- Projects paused by the client for more than 30 days may be subject to a re-mobilisation fee upon resumption to account for re-onboarding, context review, and scheduling adjustments
- Projects paused for more than 90 days without communication may be treated as cancelled, with charges applicable as per Section 1
- We will always attempt to notify the client before treating a paused project as cancelled
4 Delivery of Work Upon Cancellation
Upon cancellation and settlement of all outstanding dues, we will deliver:
- All completed design files (Figma, PSD, XD formats as applicable)
- All code written up to the cancellation date in a zip file or GitHub repository
- Credentials and access for any accounts or services set up during the project
- A handover summary outlining what was completed and what remains
Important: Work-in-progress code and designs will only be released upon full settlement of all outstanding payments.
5 Retainer & Maintenance Cancellation
For clients on monthly retainer or maintenance agreements:
- A minimum 15-day written notice is required to cancel a retainer agreement
- Monthly retainer fees are non-refundable for the current billing cycle
- No charges will be levied for the subsequent month if notice is given before the billing date
